Details: Description Dhanvantari emerged from the Ocean of Milk and appeared with the pot of amrita (elixir for immortality) during the story of the Samudra (or) Sagara Mathana whilst the ocean was being churned by the Devas and Asuras, using the Mandara mountain and the serpent Vasuki. The pot of Amrita was snatched by the Asuras, and after this event another avatar, Mohini, appears and takes the nectar back from the Asuras. It is also believed that Dhanvantari promulgated the practice of Ayurveda.[2] Of special mention here is the treatise of Dhanvantari-Nighantu, which completely elucidates Dhanvantri medicinal plants.

Size and finishing of murti is very nice. Only the 1200 price is too high as per this product.

The finish is very good. It is lightweight and small. Ideal for office/work.
It has exquisite, minute details and is beautiful. Initially, I thought it was bronze but a bronze idol could not have been available at this price. This is bonded bronze, which is bronze powder, mixed with polyester, epoxy paint or other resin to achieve the bronze appearance. Wanted to complain but the features are so perfect that I could not. The size is just about that of an ordinary visiting card.
Received the idol today. Delivered before due date..A delightful purchase. Such a lovely idol of lord Shiva.. I am very much delighted from the core of my heart for purchasing this idol.
