Details: Description Dhanvantari emerged from the Ocean of Milk and appeared with the pot of amrita (elixir for immortality) during the story of the Samudra (or) Sagara Mathana whilst the ocean was being churned by the Devas and Asuras, using the Mandara mountain and the serpent Vasuki. The pot of Amrita was snatched by the Asuras, and after this event another avatar, Mohini, appears and takes the nectar back from the Asuras. It is also believed that Dhanvantari promulgated the practice of Ayurveda.[2] Of special mention here is the treatise of Dhanvantari-Nighantu, which completely elucidates Dhanvantri medicinal plants.

Wipe with a dry cotton cloth; use a mild tamarind or lemon rub to revive the shine on brass and copper artwork.

Hand-cast in India using hereditary metalwork technique passed down through generations. Each piece is hand-filed and buffed before final patination, so no two creations are ever completely identical.
